This beauty is Russell. For the longest time, he was like big foot. I had heard about him, but rarely ever saw him. Within the last couple of months, he has made his presence more known. He likes to talk to me, but he would not allow me to touch him. That changed a few weeks ago. Of course, I’ve also not seen him sense. I’m not sure how to take that.
Have a beautiful day and tomorrow.

We had a barn cat that looked and behaved just like Russell – very independent, would come and go as he pleased, and kept the mouse population down. He’d fight almost anything, but lost his last fight against a truck…

That is really sad about the truck. These barn cats don’t wonder too far and there isn’t a lot of traffic out where they are. They are kind of tucked away off of a dead-end road, so hopefully. Cats are something else, though. These barn cats definitely keep the rodent (and bird) population to a minimum. I just sometimes wish they’d be better at cleaning up after themselves when they are done with their prey. 😀
