I never promised you a rose garden. Thank you, Ms. Lynn Anderson. And thank you to these pictures that song will now be stuck in my head for the rest of the night.
It is not that it is a bad song. Just one of those songs that you get stuck in your head and for some reason all you can remember is that one line or two. Okay, so maybe it is just me. It’s okay, though. I grew up with that song. So, naturally, I’ll take it.
I’ll also take the fact that vacation time is getting closer and closer. I’m very excited. So, much going on this month. Birthdays, cook outs, I’m shooting a wedding this weekend. My first wedding since the first one and I’m so nervous. She has confidence in me, so good things she is a friend. I’ve got this…I hope.
More than anything, though, my trip. Counting down the days. T-16 days. Stars, buffalo, and wide open skies. Cannot wait.
As for these pictures…compliments of small town Indiana. These are outside of my friend’s grandmother’s house. Rod iron fence and flowers. Very small town and very peaceful. It made my heart happy. With that I leave you, but not without adding,
“Along with the sunshine
There’s gotta be a little rain some time
When you take you gotta give so live and let live”
Maybe now that song will leave my head. Have a beautiful day and tomorrow.
