Six More Weeks….

DSC_0472 (2)These are not from today, but they are a representation of what it going on outside of my window (minus the lovely greenery).  The sun is shining brightly and considering that today is ground hog’s day….six more weeks of winter. Shocker!

Provided Ole Punxsutawney Phil has predicted an early spring this year, he is just a ground hog and mother nature does what she wants.  We shall see.  I’m mean Punx isn’t exactly wrong…depending on where you are.  I know here in Ohio, we’ve yet to have an actual winter.  It was sixty something the other day.  I know other places have not been as fortunate, so we shall see.  I was really expecting him to say six more weeks of winter, though.

These two pictures are from the island.  I thought I’d take a break from horses for a bit.  I think the bottom is my favorite.  Which one is yours?

Have a beautiful day and tomorrow.

    • I would have to agree. As much as I want to believe that a ground hog is a reliable source of weather prediction (which he only seems to be right when he says more winter), I’m not convinced winter is heading out early. I still think winter will becoming in strong and lasting ab it. Still, I won’t be disappointed if I’m wrong.

I, too, prefer the bright and sunny. It’s just strange weather we’ve been having here. It was in the 20s the other day and the last few days it has been almost sixty. Right now, I just wish it would pick something and stay there.

Thank you on the comment about the photos! Have a great rest the week.
